I am so glad that your endeavours across the internet have brought you to my webpage. WOOP WOOP!
Firstly, I hear that congratulations are in order as you two are planning on tying the knot! This is such an exciting time in your lives- huge snaps for you both!
Picking your wedding celebrant is an enormous decision, it’s incredibly important to see if our personalities will mesh well. So, to help you feel more well-informed, I’ll give you a brief run-down ALL ABOUT ME!
My name is Haylea (but you can call me Haylz because we’re already friends!) and I am so pleased to meet you! I live in Torquay with my husband (we are newlyweds and it still feels very weird to say the word husband!) Josh. We have two very spoilt fur babies; our miniature schnauzers Hank and Larry who live a very good life! I love spending time at the beach, watching the Barbie movie, Queer Eye or Kath & Kim on repeat, enjoying a glass (or three) of red, going to pilates and getting out and about with friends and family! As you’ll come to know, I’m almost too obsessed with the colour pink. It’s a problem but I have chosen to embrace it! I’m a Primary Teacher by trade with a hobby of marrying loved-up couples on the side.
What lead me to becoming a celebrant? I’m a Pisces which means I’m an incorrigible romantic. I love love! I literally watch The Notebook on repeat and I still can’t help but cry. Being a celebrant is SUCH a special job. I feel so incredibly fortunate that I get to be so involved in your wedding day! I can’t wipe the smile off my face after hitching a gorgeous couple.
I am on a mission to ban boring wedding ceremonies! Guests are normally wondering when the ceremony will be done so they can start sinking beers. I make sure that the ceremony doesn’t drag and will captivate your guests, they may even forget that they were hanging for a beer! (No, they probably won’t).
My goal is to make sure every ceremony is centred around the couple, with everyone feeling as as comfortable as possible. I want your guests to be giggling, wiping a couple of tears and then feeling ready to PARTAY and celebrate the fabulous couple that you are. I love getting to know your personalities, sharing many LOL’s together and naturally becoming close friends and making friendship bracelets for each other.
I’m outgoing, fun, cheeky, entertaining, appropriately inappropriate, glam yet slightly bogan and can always be relied on to bring the good vibes!
